Radio Features

For a freelance project, I worked with Youth Today and Crosscut to produce a powerful radio story about Youth Homelessness in Washington state.

For my day job, I am the host and senior producer of Sound & Vision at KEXP in Seattle, Washington. Tune in to 90.3FM KEXP each Saturday morning from 7:30 – 9am PT to hear Sound & Vision.

Here are a handful of my favorite pieces we’ve put to podcast:

Wake Up, Win Butler: A Roundtable

Sylvan Esso Trusts the Process (or “Randy and Sandy Get Weird”)

Artists & Their Abortions

Miki Ratsula and Their Nonbinary Love Songs

King County Access

King County Metro’s Access paratransit service takes around 3,000 trips a day. It carries passengers who would otherwise be unable to ride public transit due to a disability. But some who ride paratransit believe that it could be improved and feel now is the time for change. I rode with Steve Marquardt on his commute to a community event to talk about the issues he faces. This piece was a part of 91.3 KBCS’s “Unmute the Commute.”
